Our initial experiences were good - reasonable price, close to the highway for easy access, nice bathrooms, friendly staff guy named Larry. It wasn't until our first night that we experienced trouble. The campground owner lives on the small lake on the property. Starting at about 10PM at night, he starts blasting recordings of a right-wing evangelical preacher over the intercom system and does not stop until about midnight. The next morning, it started up again at 8:30 AM. At first, I thought it was a disrespectful fellow camper, but the following morning another camper told me that it was the owner and that there was nothing anyone would do about it. It's mind numbing and totally disrespectful! We had a box fan with us that we used to drown out that garbage, but it could only do so much. We tried calling the camping staff about the issue, but I received no feedback. Avoid this horrible place!
This place is hot!! Very warm campfires. Good people.
Nice rustic setup. Enjoyed our stay but they have changed since our stay 3 yrs ago.
Very quiet and staff is beyond helpful, I can't believe campers who play soccer at the lodi soccer fields don't use this Campground all the time.
